Another time in another place
maybe then I'll be able to erase
the memories of love that did me wrong,
the time that it took me to move along
away from the heartache,
away from the tears,
away from the loneliness
and all of my fears.

Here in this place everything that I do
just keeps reminding me all about you.
Maybe there's a place for lovers that are done.
Maybe I can find it and a new someone,
away from the heartache,
away from the tears.
away from the loneliness
and all of my fears.

Sometimes it takes a strong, strong will
to get over the bumps and climb uphill
but I can do it.
I'll get through it
in another time and another place.
