Anguish Or Anger Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Anguish Or Anger

Rating: 3.0

War may not stop as it is like hunger
Be whatever level of anguish or anger
It may come like clouds thunder
May cause havoc, destruction and plunder

Bodies may remain scattered
Many more may just be murdered
Blood may flow and termed as holy war
Enemy is enjoying by staying far

We kill our own brethrens
While praying for our concern
We see in them devil
But in fact they are religious pupil

Blood flows freely with no account
Death toll rises and mounts
I pray almighty to stop this mad race
Why we flow the blood and stupidly chase

Humanity suffers in pain
There is nothing to gain
Territories may remain wherever they are
We shall only become fading star

Who enjoys this bloody war?
Who creates wedge and taking profit far?
We are simple fool not to understand
They are real foes and not our friends

Not a sing tear drops when bombs are dropped?
Not a regret note is issued when bodies are collected?
What type of game are we paying in somebody's hand?
What can be our logic and simple trend?

I think of no devil or enemy
Let us all pray sincerely to almighty
"O, lord grant us some sense
What are we committing often this nonsense?

I dream of holy war
For taking my fellow brethrens very far
Where they can breathe peacefully
With honor and rightfully

What will matter if I utter Allah?
Where world will collapse if I pray for Jesus and say hurrah
I see no reason why we can't stop?
The war on honor and pride is just flop

Let us see same world with different face
Where it has everything sans mad race
No blood for simple reason of domination
Let us build healthy and happy relation
