  Now that 'they' see
A way of life on decline,
They are trying to prevent
The 'rot' from existing!
But it has been that way for years!
It did not 'just' begin,
Because now it has begun to affect them!
Remember those mavericks speaking out?
Well those now in an uproar,
Were responsible in silencing
The nonconformity expressed 'then'!
Now that the mess has infected everyone's nest...
They are are wondering 'why',
Some have chosen to walk away with closed eyes!

'I hear you!
And I commend you for your observations.
But will you pass the salad dressing?
I've already served my time!
And I feel blessed I've got my mind back!
My eyes are not closed.
I just got tired of the name calling! '
