All You Have Given Poem by louis rams

Lord I woke up to another beautiful day and to face all the challenges that may come my way.
I woke up to the beauties of the sun and sky and some days may be dreary
But they're just passing by.
The point is - you have given us another day to be with our
Families as the hours slip away.
Each precious moment that we see life unfold is another
Story that can be told.
You showed me faith hope and love when there was none to be found
I was at my lowest peak and already on the ground.
You picked me up and dusted me off and had me stand straight and tall
And said: man could have it all!because I gave man freedom of choice or to listen to my voice.
Help yourself and I will help you that is all you've got to do.
