Now, you and I have won,
We will pardon
Our adversaries,
Ignore our enemies
And strengthen the love for our friends.
Now, we are on top,
We must forever
Be more vigilant, and better,
And mindful of the rap and the flap
That will be coming out of our fiends.
Now, we are up there,
We will do our best
To freshen up the air,
We will take off our vest,
Work hard with our brain and with our hands.
Things will improve,
We’re making the right move;
With the help of the Almighty,
Every thing will be alright and beefy,
And we will, as planned, satisfy all demands.
Good intentions. I respect them. Better than nothing. I think Jesus Christ proved for all time that there will always be people who disagree with you. By the way, seems to be typo in line ten (10) .
Such a set from the heart. It is a poetry from the soul and goes deep to the roots of the origin of first election. Hope life will be smart after election. Mark you, even we in Kenya are looking forward to such a life. Keep up.
Herbert...... Nice one.....everything will be alright and beefy......haven't heard that expression before. See my....I stood in line...come back Martin
This is a statement as much as it is a poem. We all should be ready to go to work and make things better. A good read for me. I am excited about change but I also know that it will take time....
I wish the same thing would happen in every country post-Elections...very well penned Herb 10+++
