Adam Poem by Weldon Davis

Adam

Rating: 5.0

I have an envy of Adam
I'd give my rib for an Eve
In the garden of Eden
With a god to believe

Food in abundance
Teach my sons to love
Make this world better
Prevent the flood

Let everyone have their share
Of trust and care
Do my own work
Treat the world fair

Respect what I got
Which is not a lot
Still I have them
In this world gone foul

I have an envy of Adam
