Across The Moat Poem by Justin Gildow

Across The Moat

Across the moat
The water gently moves along
Yet fish monsters jump out of the water
Ready to attack me

Stones and other foundations
Fall from above
I have to be on my guard
As I make my way across the moat
As it seems that anything can attack me
from anywhere and everywhere
From small things to large things
To almost anything
