A Treasure Poem by Michael Nkwocha

A Treasure

Rating: 5.0

I'd rather have a friend so true
than wine and dine with kings.
I'd rather have a friend faithful
than walk all day with nobles.
I'd rather have a friend loving
than live in a house of gold.
I'd rather have a friend caring
than a world wide fame
I'd rather have a friend as you
than have the whole world in my hands.

I am reading the first poem today and I am taking pleasure in it. It is a splendid work! You wrote very good and subtle. I am enraptured, that it is possible to use few words in order to express as many as this many. Friendship it is a very broad subject '. It is a very satisfying topic and.... contrary to appearances, difficult. Everyone, look to the friendship differently and sometimes appropriately selected and has a special 'sentences'. In your poem, the friendship is being dictated through with heart. He is enrapturing me. Well to have such a friend. (10v.) From the friendship - one step to other emotion. What then is happening? Not always it is possible, for it to be possible they were 'to move', to other feeling and emotions. Effects are sometimes painful and unpredictable. Perhaps it would be a good topic to the new poem? Willingly I will read :) . Greetings. Maria Barbara Korynt
