Bedtime Prayer Poem by Michael Nkwocha

Bedtime Prayer

Rating: 5.0

Here o Lord my body lay
the day soon spent, the night has come
when morning comes may I arise
with heart refreshed and strength renewed.

But if I pass from sleep to death
may I awake in glory new
with saints and angels sing your praise
my Lord and God, my life, my all. Amen.

A beautiful prayer that each of us can recite every night...reminds me of a prayer to my Guardian Angel that my Mom taught me as a kid...Angel of God, my Guardian dear....you perhaps know it too

Your prayer is sincere and feels itself. It is churning up and it is saying for us, what we aren't able to say. It can serve everyone who wants own words thank goodness! for living, for lasting, for getting up every day with new forces which rest is giving. Combining at any time it is possible to walk away and you are prepared for Hi, it is approval of going from the earthly life, to the life, better, where God is everything. These are not a fear of walking away but approval, joy and hope, to the meeting with God. Beautiful poem - Prayer. (10v.) Maria Barbara Korynt
