A March 26th Poem
I'd like to send a message
Straight to heaven if I may,
I'll try to keep it very short
though much I'd like to say
I want to say Happy Birthday
to the greatest I ever knew
a woman with such stature
her beautiful eyes so blue
Her smile was always showing
She'd dance and laugh all day
Always seemed to be knowing
that somehow we'd find a way
Made the best of every situation
Being positive it will work out
She'd conquer even retaliation
always winning without a doubt
Such a determined Aries spirit
filled with love that had no end
This woman I called my mother
turned out to be my best friend
