A Hop, Skip And A Jump Poem by Edwina Reizer

A Hop, Skip And A Jump

A hop, skip and a jump
From where it is we're going,

A hop, skip and a jump
From ever really knowing.

Such a short distance and yet so vast
And in all the unknowing the die's been cast.

Best we not see what the future brings.
Best just to concentrate on how the nightingale sings.

For the hop, the skip and the jump
Is the uncertainty we all must face.

For linear time that's present on earth
Has been limited since our birth.
