Embrace the future with a gentle caress.
For the past is not a friend to us.
You traveled a dark path that is not easy to discuss.
Love? It was not love for he made you cry.
He did not love your shoulder or stand by your side.
The longing you feel will fade away.
Your soft soul will heal day after day.
The End? Never fear for today is the light.
Fight the darkness and keep your sight.
Is what I feel for you sympathetic?
No it's simply because I know and I am empathetic.
