A Bouquet Poem by Heather Burns

A Bouquet

Rating: 4.2

Sometimes a bouquet is sent
an expression of love, sentiment

But flowers will fade and die
if not attended as time goes by

When loving care is taken of them
gentle hands caress the stems

They will bloom a long time then
repeat themselves bloom again.

A bouquet is a great sign of love although flowers will fade away.

Rose leaves when the rose is dead, Is heaped for the beloved's bed, And so thy thought when thou art gone, Love itself shall slumber on. - - Shelley

Very true - a bouquet needs to be cared and caressed to give the true value of love and a bouquet becomes great only when it gets the due love and honor.

Bouquet needs to be properly cared so that it lasts a long time. Nicely put in the poem.
