070510d Trees Are Talking

one by one prominences fading away
i can walk straight; yes peacefully
down to river along bushy grooves
fruitless berry trees left them empty
it's surprise few mosquitoes hatch
something in water may have caused

i look on treetops they're balding
lots of trees are turning to dust
maybe eaten by vicious bugs
it could be acid rain or seawater
seeping to inland; sick world
nobody wants to understand
