019: The Kindness Of Strangers Poem by Colin Johnston

019: The Kindness Of Strangers

Rating: 4.1

Strangers, who are they?
Just someone you have never met…
Are they different?
Are they queer?

Or just someone who isn’t dear? ...

Don’t be indifferent
Don’t be shy
Just because they
Don’t catch your eye…
Talk to them
They won’t bite
You might find that them,

You’ll like…

The Kindness of Strangers
For the best part,
Is when they give it from their Hearts…
I may be wrong
But, I recall...

That’s the nicest part of all…

So true, doesn't take much for a stranger to be a friend. Marilyn

I know the pain when in a new place, people treated me indifferently. A very good concept nicely depicted. thanks sathya naraya na

you are right..many people often share thoughts to someone they do not know, it is because we believe in every person's goodness and thus makes a nicer world..good poem.
