Judea Mae Espanola Poems

I dreamed of love that never dies,
Of love that needs the truth, not lies.
A love so strong it binds the air,
A love that's brave as well as it's fair.
...

I dreamed of love and hate combined
and wished that only love were mine,
but then again, how wrong i was,
for one cannot be where the other is not.
...

Mahal kita, alam mo ba?
Ayos lang sa kin kung may iba ka.
Hindi ko naman plano na manggulo.
Gusto ko lang talaga sabihin 'to sayo.
...

i dont mind, i dont care,
no i don't think life is that fair..
I can't see, i can't feel,
no, these wounds take time to heal..
...

How unfortunate that you can never love me back,
So now I'm alone in this grim world again;
But I believe it's your loss, not mine,
when you spited my heart, so freely given.
...

I’m tired of hiding in the shadows,
Where there stay the vultures and ravens and crows
But can it be that there in the shadows,
Is where my only happiness in this world grows?
...

When can we say its right to love?
Who to love and how to love?
What measurement is used to say,
If one should go and one should stay?
...

No words can express the longing I feel,
The feeling of emptiness that’s here in me still.
Where can I go? What should I do?
Why is it that, more than ever, my heart still wants you?
...

I am a blue butterfly,
With wings that flutter well,
Yet I’m alone, can't reach the sky
Cause in this bottle I must dwell.
...

Journey through rhymes of space and time,
Under the pale blue moon, we shine,
Delving into the thoughts of each, and
Ending the night with a kiss to your cheek.
...

It's freakishly, freaking weird
how you have come to see,
the light that emanates,
from the darkness within me.
...

Lover:

I reached for the moon, she's so high above

Patawarin mo sana,

Ang damdaming naguguluhan,
...

Mahal kita, alam mo ba?

Ayos lang sa kin kung may iba ka.

I broke my mother’s heart over some guy I know,
When I refused to tell her how I need him so.
So now, my conscience, wherever I go,
Tortures my being, damns my very soul.
...

Amidst the empty streets and glowing posts,
The moon sat daintily on her golden throne.
Then couples, young and old alike,
Stared at her majesty, so pure, so bright
...

My hand is yours as we walk by,
And my mind’s full of glee
Then between steps and all the while,
You vanished suddenly.

No words can express the longing I feel,
The feeling of emptiness that’s here in me still.
Where can I go? What should I do?
Why is it that, more than ever, my heart still wants you?
...

This loud, loud, loud silence invokes melancholy
Caused by a madness dwelling deep, deep in me
Oh dear, how I long for the good old days
When they were filled with beauty, they were filled with grace.
...

Under the starry moonlit sky, I write,
Cause everything just feels oh so right…
Singing a song of how your eyes shine,
As your lips, with passion, softly touches mine…

Heaven Can Wait

I dreamed of love that never dies,
Of love that needs the truth, not lies.
A love so strong it binds the air,
A love that's brave as well as it's fair.

I dreamed of hope, of hope divine,
Of places that brim with mirth, food and wine,
Where poverty touches nothing but dust,
And everything's ruled by one who is just.

I dreamed of peace of mind and of heart.
Of nations neither faith nor war will ever part
Where people roam with no fear in mind,
And happiness is for everyone to seek and find.

I've dreamed of heaven, a few times before,
And i always wanted to run back for more,
Yet when i wake, and found you here,
I thought heaven can wait, as long as you're near...
