A Light That Shines In Front Of Me Poem by Judea Mae Espanola

A Light That Shines In Front Of Me

Amidst the empty streets and glowing posts,
The moon sat daintily on her golden throne.
Then couples, young and old alike,
Stared at her majesty, so pure, so bright

And with the sparkle of the city lights,
Your eyes grew vivid in the dark of the night.
Vibrant colors that radiates just right,
No room for suff’ring, for pain, or for blight;

Then sweet music swept across the room,
Ancient, divine, with but a trace of gloom.
Your face shone with the beauty around you,
But I just stared at the beauty inside you..
