Dancing On The Ridges Of A Cliff Poem by Judea Mae Espanola

Dancing On The Ridges Of A Cliff

Under the starry moonlit sky, I write,
Cause everything just feels oh so right…
Singing a song of how your eyes shine,
As your lips, with passion, softly touches mine…

With our hands entwined, I forget the whole world…
My people, my name, even the day of my birth.
For me, nothing matters, as long as you’re here,
Cause all I need’s here, whenever you are near.

We dance as the music began to play gently,
Although at first I can’t help but feel a bit silly.
Yet when your arms start to encircle my body,
I felt that I am free from the chains that once bound me.

Say you’ll be here, say that you’ll stay,
Say you’ll be with me forever and a day.
Don’t look down on the cliff that threatens to engulf us,
For as long as we’re together, surely nothing can ever stop us…
