This feeling of belonging and still so fragile
Hardly making sense of us most often
Was it really a need to just be softened?

I know my purpose and what I am called upon for
The heartfelt tasks that leave us yearning for more
Those moments with me will bring changes to your core
Backwards and forwards but never as it was before

Have less fear my sweet, Boo Boo
For you I'm always here; not going anywhere
And If times shall come to pass that I must go
Away I'll be only just momentarily

There can be good in everything
I've heard it's called the silver-lining
We live and learn and grow and grow
Finding out there is always more to know

Why do You have such compulsive needs?
Life is hard enough without that constant greed
I try to live by philosophical creeds
And I'm tortured by your desire to succeed
...

Now I know the deep seeded truth
I was looking outside when I should of been looking in
I just wish I knew
I got to be the change
...

I want to forgive you but I feel stuck in this hate
This difference exists because you were so great
Impervious before you to those of no grace
Was easy to forgive the atrocities without faith

The broken soul that everyone sees
Does not really exist and this I believe
Wearing your emotions right on your sleeves
I see who you are and what you need
