I look outside and see the snow, it must be November or December
I call out to see my wife, I called and called until I cried
Then a lady came in my room and said, remember sir, she died

I look outside and see the tree
I planted when you passed
It is so big and full of life
Like I know you would have been

The mountains majestic, the rivers so clear
The lakes reflect images much like a mirror
The valleys are deep and half full of snow
The calving of glaciers a sight to unfold
...

Deep within these hallowed walls
Living spirits come to pray
They mind their bodies thru the week
Their souls the seventh day

Shapely curves and silky smooth
Her beauty filled the room
Turning heads and staring eyes
Her beauty was consumed

Way up north in Alaska - Where I raise my family
Is where I find peace of mind - and just adore the scenery
My favorite thing to do here - in the fall before the snow
I climb up in the mountains - where the wild berries grow

I wake and it is dark outside
A new velvet coat of white
I love the moon as it reflects
An early awesome light

Released from the flowering bud
And carried by the wind
It now awaits the warmth of spring
To gain a foothold once again

My little girl asked once of me
