Just Asking Poem by James Hunter

Just Asking

Rating: 5.0

Where do we go when we die?
My little girl asked once of me
I contemplated the answer
As I sat her on my knee
Why did you ask me that question?
I smiled and took hold of her hand
I was wondering where all the puppies go
And what or where is heaven?
I thought for a moment then told her
Heaven is a very grand place
The people who've died reside there
A more puzzling look on her face
It's a place where we are invited
To join Jesus after we die
My little girl nodded for a moment
And then said to me, but why?
So we can live life to its fullest
Enjoying the love we all share
Knowing that we need not worry
About anything once we are there
