Deep within these hallowed walls
Living spirits come to pray
They mind their bodies thru the week
Their souls the seventh day
They are joined by souls who've passed
When praying from their heart
Prayers for others and for themselves
As they reconcile with God
Strangers sitting side by side
Sharing different views
Settling on common ground
While sitting in the pews
The love of God embraced by most
The word of God proclaimed
A vision of His Holy Ghost
No one will be the same
All at once believers
All were saved that day
God revealed Himself to those
In a very Heavenly way
