As dawn spreads her rosy fingers
And brings her veil across the sky
Her colourful display lingers
With golden gleams and reds up high

A waste of time is what he thought
And that is what he said to me
To sit composing poetry
Is worth a little more than nought

She said goodbye to Aunt Milia
She stooped and gave her two filia
I heard the sadness in her voice
Her heart no longer could rejoice

A haven lush and green
Amid the dusty dry fields
With shade from summer sun
A rustic peaceful scene

I think I have the flu
I have this constant cough
I need a lemon brew
I certainly feel off
...

A perfect sphere, a perfect globe
With tough and orange skin
Which covers like an outer robe
Refreshing juice that is within.

There was a time when youth was mine,
When I had sparkle in my eyes
And life, oh life was so much fun,
And you and I and all did shine.
...

I took a train and travelled to the past.
It sped along the iron track in haste.
The images I saw were played too fast
And on and on the locomotive raced.

I love my room
Its welcome gloom
Its solitude
Its attitude
...

They rage within my brain
Emotions wild and deep
At times they cause me pain
Exhausting me to sleep
