The Flu Poem by Elia Michael

The Flu

I think I have the flu
I have this constant cough
I need a lemon brew
I certainly feel off

A touch of honey too
To soothe my burning throat
Oh if you only knew
I'm sat here in my coat

I've got the shivers bad
And yet I feel quite hot
I am a little sad
My nose is full of snot

I think I have the flu
I feel so down and rough
I think I want to spew
I've really had enough
