Timothy Kimmons Poems

Darkness prevails where the light has failed
no sun shall shine today

But when at last those clouds do move
...

The spirit couldn`t speak
so all day long he floated about

He glided to a mountain`s peak
...

Blue, orange, and red flames
a liar the man who claims he tames
flickering and dancing
feeding and prancing
...

We were to meet at the local park
on a sunny spring day

But before she got to me
...

Sword through flesh
axe through bone

A weapon of choice
...

6.

Dreadful dreary day
how you feed so well my rage
Never allowing it a taste of famine
in it`s tough titanium cage
...

Ten reads the timer
really too long to wait

But my patience will be rewarded
...

Fetch me pen, parchment, and ink
and allow me a brief moment to ponder
Where it is sleep talkers wonder
what awe or terror do they face
...

We fear all is for not
if we are forgot
no one to tell our tale

We fear finality
...

10.

Dawn births a new creature
bathed in utter misery
a tub wrought not by his own
but filled by others
...

Three petals
all that`s left

One she loves me
...

Good Vs. Evil

Darkness prevails where the light has failed
no sun shall shine today

But when at last those clouds do move
the light will push the dark away

But in that time
no hope appears

Now is life
and words are smears

For now no hero will save the day
only in stories does it end that way
