Another Day Poem by Timothy Kimmons

Another Day

Rating: 4.0

We fear all is for not
if we are forgot
no one to tell our tale

We fear finality
what is reality
face to face with death

We rip and we tear
we give and we share
to prolong a memory doomed to fail

But on this lifeboat
on the ocean afloat
we fear, forget, and tell

Fear to die
forget to live
and tell our tale

Nay, forget to die
Live your tale
and on this lifeboat sail
