Awkward Silence Buster Poem by Timothy Kimmons

Awkward Silence Buster

Rating: 3.5

Ten reads the timer
really too long to wait

But my patience will be rewarded
the taste will compensate

Beautiful foresights
of when that oven opens up

The aroma a sweet smack
that will have me begging like a pup

Laziness forgotten
in fact I run

Cause when that timer goes off
I know my pizza rolls are done
