Bathed Poem by Timothy Kimmons

Bathed

Dawn births a new creature
bathed in utter misery
a tub wrought not by his own
but filled by others
tears a comfort to start
but soon tears did not come
flustered and afraid
he tried ignoring
but ever deeper the tub filled
pieces of a heart
took place of bubbles
shattered as it`s owner`s hopes
a debt falls also in the stream
that never ends
failed goals follow soon behind
'why' the creature cries
soon to drown in his own
misery to his eyes
to face it ever alone
