If you try to philosophise!
The reason folks violate others lives
The simple fact is very plain,
They want the bitterness to remain.

When Eros, rampant in his mischievous rage
Did plague the earth with his golden bow.
Many a man and maid to show,

(A moment captured whilst travelling from East Sussex on July 7th 2005 after having heard of the London bombings just before we left. And having heard that Brighton Station had been closed because of Terrorists, thankful we were driving home. Yet having thoughts of what others were facing driving into London as they drove home from their daily work.)

If You Try To Philosophise!

If you try to philosophise!
The reason folks violate others lives
The simple fact is very plain,
They want the bitterness to remain.
And that is why they’ve done it all,
They wish that others meet their fall.

But then, to get on with life’s game
And try to stay the very same.
The way your true nature is,
And live the life you want to live.
Not in fear, not in pain,
But in peace, let solace remain.

For them that‘s life, it’s very plain
It’s called the mendacious game.
The rapist’s rape, to sully the soul.
The burglar robs, to destroy the whole.
To take away you’re security,
And maximise, you’re vulnerability.
This is what it’s all about.
No need to scream, no need to shout.
Just get on with life’s game
