We are people touched by sorrow -
sometime in the past,
maybe today, perhaps tomorrow.

I always try to envision the beauty,
the wonders and the awesomeness of life;
but also accepting the fact that
on this journey, there is, indeed, much strife.

I don't really know -
why it happened as it did.
I just gave my prayer to God -
then you came into my heart to live.
...

Give me all your tears
and I will take them to the sea
I am the keeper of all tears
for it is I who will set them free.

In the silence of my heart, I stare out into a lonely night -
It is so dark; almost abandonment in the bitter cold,
Feelings surface without notice in my weary mind -
These are the times that I feel so very empty, lost, and old.
...

Like a gentle dace of an Autumn breeze -
Embracing songbirds above the trees, in flight;
Like a stream that runs over moss and fern -
Or the laughter of an infant, such a sheer delight...
...

Sometimes I ask myself, "Where have I been? " -
What have I been searching for, so high and low?
Why have I searched for the pot of gold -
and not just settled for the rainbow?
...

In this day and age of much uncertainty -
when everything seems so unsure and bleak,
Where fear and violence troubles a heart -
from vast oceans waters to mountain peaks.
...

I go to our Lord Jesus in prayer,
for there is much confusion
that lingers all about in this place;
the war, my purpose, and my fears.
...

Gazing at a multicolored sunset,
fading slowly into the west -
I am mesmerized by thoughts
lingering in my mind,
