And I hold on to the thought that one day he might fall
For I see him for all that he can be
A bitter sweet, yet joyfully, enduring memory.

No life to live for, nothing left to defend
And as my hopes fly, storms brew from above
In with the hatred, gone is the love.

A child cried cause he had no shoes, until he met a man with no feet
And time moves slower without the warmth of a heart beat.

For I see the light as I move to feel the pain

As the heart shudders towards another
You seem content with your lover
And as the days begin to tumble
My words appear to crumble

Silence of the gloom darkened by the weak
For words of wisdom is all that I seek
As I betray my heart when I listen to my head
Accusing my mouth of what it has said.

Pride- To look, never to see
Love- To feel, never to me
Lust- To want, to need, to be
Passion- Is all that matters to me.

In my hand, I carry my heart
As it beats to an end, I rewind to the start
To the day I first placed it on my sleeve
Which is filled with regret to the fools who had led me to believe.
