I fool my heart every day
grasping you are far.

Angel in my heart, You reside
kingdom you raise, yet I can not come
Nothing beats the time spent with you
and all the little things we did.

In the still of night, when stars do shine,
And longing heart beats to a steady rhyme,
My thoughts do wander to my dearest love,
Whose sweet embrace I cannot now have.

Pledged my heart beneath the stars' embrace,
Reaching for your hand, a serene space.
In your eyes, I found the endless gleam,
You and I united in a cherished dream.
