What The Fun We Had. Poem by Revanth Badadha

What The Fun We Had.

The bell rings, morning 8: 00
Students rush like a flock of sheep,
Children in uniforms, involved in classes
Break time fights, sharing lunch.
Those moments of bliss.
Hours of classes, never a free hour,
English, maths, Kannada,
science, Hindi, social.....ah! ! !
so many to study, Yet
What the fun we had.

noisy classrooms, playful grounds,
silent library, scary principal room,
Everything possesses its beauty
from AM to PM, with friends and teachers
sharing moments of joy and sorrows
open talks, noisy discussions,
cracking jokes, pairing friends...Ah!
What the fun we had.

Exam times, fearsome faces,
feeding our brains briskly.
Class test, monthly test,
Midterm, annual exams...all go frantic.
results time, happy faces, frowning faces
marks, ranks, scoldings,
everything amok...Ah! Yet,
What the fun we had.
