Prasenjit Mochahary Biography
Prasenjit Mochahary was born in 1989 at Phakriguri, a remote village under Jonai Sub division of Dhemaji district, Assam. He passed M.A in Bodo Literature under Institute of Distance and Open Learning from Gauhati University in 2013 and cleared National Eligibility Test -June- 2012 and State Eligibility Test-2015 conducted by UGC and SLET Commission, NE Region respectively. He has done ten month language training at North Eastern Regional Language Centre, Guwahati under Central Institute of Indian Languages, Mysore, Karnataka sponsorsed by Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India. At present, he is serving as Asstt. Prof. in Bodo at Jonai Girls' College, Jonai, Dhemaji, Assam. He is regarded as emerging modern BODO poet who tries to project maturity of ideas as well as techniques to depicts the complexities of life in his poems. He writes in free verse form and a lot of odes. Loneliness, complexities of modern and modernity are the main background of his poetry. He has published a Bodo poetry book named Sanshri Arw Swdwb in 2021. Besides poem he has a number of literary critics to his credit, where he tries to explore the genuine of topics with liberal expressions. Besides his own creations, he has edited a numbers of Bodo Poetry Books, Souvenirs, Mouthpiece etc. Some of them are: 1. Gwrbwse Bibarni Lu 2019 2. Giyanni Thandwi 2021 3.
