You Will Never Know Poem by Rebecca Lyle

You Will Never Know

Rating: 4.5

You Shall Never Know

When the cold winds blow through my soul, you will never know-
When I know I can't go on with this heart torn apart, you will never know-
When I wake in the night and I can't breathe, you will never know-
When despair drags me into a place like Hell, you will never know-
When I see you out with her, I will act indifferent, you will never know.

I will be alone of course, you owned me body and soul-
I will hide my tears from everyone, not letting them know-
I will constrain myself, letting myself become a hideous curse-
I will be as odious as I can, so no one would see anything worth-
I will grow old alone waiting for my real death.

I pray you are always happy, have love always in your life-
I pray you have a family that gives you years of happiness-
I pray you are never lonely, sick, or without all you wanted-
I pray you never go one day feeling the way I will always feel-
I pray you maybe just once in your whole life you think of me.
