You Sleep Now Poem by Bobby Pask

You Sleep Now

If only you
Knew where my mind is.
You'd know what I want do
And the passion of my kiss.

I want you here
Now and forever.
Without a worry or care.
Just a family to treasure.

We've moved so fast
Without any relations.
But I'm sure it'll last
Even through temptations.

You're a dream
In reality.
You just seem
To get my mentality.

Many years to wait
For it to truly start.
Until that date,
I'll wait by the cart.

You're who I need
To get me through.
The one to feed
And nurture with what's true.

I can't sleep
I can't concentrate.
But I won't weep
Or become irate.

You sleep now
I'll keep an eye out.
This is how
I'll show what I'm about
