You, Me And The Seasons Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

You, Me And The Seasons

I have long since forgotten about the seasons
There exchanging of seats on the lap of the earth
There casting of shadows upon leafs and lands
And there slow deaths and abrupt births

I have long since forgotten the way you
Looked at me from behind hedges when
There was spring all around with fresh attire
And you gathered the pieces of dreams broken

There under the canopy of pregnant clouds
Your heart has been soaked with love
And I have forgotten how many times you
Walked with naked feet to me staring above

For the rain to cease and with the edge
Of the dress while collecting the pearly drops
Recounted the past hours of union that
Gave you sleepless nights and strong hopes

The way of presentation is fantastic. Let me quote here some lines. . . Looked at me from behind hedges when There was spring all around with fresh attire And you gathered the pieces of dreams broken There under the canopy of pregnant clouds Your heart has been soaked with love And I have forgotten how many times you Walked with naked feet to me staring above Beautiful poem on love relating to nature has been shared here nicely. Thanks.
