You'D See Poem by Wright Palafox

You'D See

Now far apart, a question I’d pose,
Of what was, is and could ever be,
Besotted, beloved I’d hastily suppose,
For soon, hopefully, you’d see,

Uneasy, perturbed you’d often say,
Smitten, stricken and filled with glee,
Simply disclosed, already I may,
For soon, eventually, you’d see,

Denied chances then rarely arisen,
Passing moments, priced hefty such fee,
And this breadth now as broken,
For soon, sincerely, you’d see,

Given another as this chance,
Now forged, fashioned and meant to be,
I try so hard to bridge this distance,
For soon, vividly, you’d see,

Now is all that I’ve been given,
For at this moment, you’d see,
Desperate acts now made this certain,
Because you mean so much to me…
