Wrinkles Poem by Lyn Paul

Wrinkles

Rating: 4.5

Wrinkles No Longer
For I am growing younger
I didn't plan on dying
I hadn't planned on leaving
Now here I am today watching you all grieving

So dream a thousand dreams
Awake to explore a new day
Do not question another's beliefs
And just remember, Life isn't always smooth sailing
The rain will not always fall
And the sun will not always shine

for i am growing younger means what? is the last stanza a set of your suggestions for the living? if so, they aren't all that bad; i mean they are pretty good. thanks for sharing.

A good piece, we never know what's on the horizon.

Lovely, the rain will not always fall and the sun will not always shine, a reality beautifully embodied in your poem
