Why Do We Love Love

Why do we love love
why does love even exist
we all get hurt by love
so why love love

we all have our faults in love
love comes and goes like the wind
you have to be careful who you fall in love with
cause if you dont you will end up hurt

why does love even exist
to me love is just like a can of worms
you will never know what you are opening up to find
love is a challege which i like to take

be careful who you love
cause one day you might wake up and their gone forever
live life to the fullest
dont let love hold you back

I agree completely here hun. I guess we all are blind to the pain until it hits. each time we think 'maybe this time it will be better' (Report) Reply

Nice write. :) Love is deceitful and can always hold us back but in the end, it might be the one thing that make a person truly happy. (Report) Reply

Love a cruel deciever of emotion, truly the emotion that can hold us back, or sometimes it can be the emotion to save us.....beautiful poem. (Report) Reply

Poem of the Day

poet Henry David Thoreau

My books I'd fain cast off, I cannot read,
'Twixt every page my thoughts go stray at large
Down in the meadow, where is richer feed,
And will not mind to hit their proper targe.
