Who Has The Right? Poem by Paul WilsonSuffield

Who Has The Right?

I have the right
I have the right
To be what I may
Fat thin, tall short, black white, straight or gay

I have the right
I have the right
To stand up for what I need
To push the cogs of progress, to work at a faster speed

I have the right
I have the right
To point out all the wrongs I see
And push the people whose lives I touch towards equality

I have the right
You have the right
We have the right, you’ll see
To make a difference in the world, when we work collectively
