In the depths of sorrow, my heart does weep,
For the loss of a love I'll forever keep.
Gone from this world, yet still in my soul,
Memories of you, like a precious jewel.

Your laughter, once vibrant, now a distant sound,
Echoes in my mind, as I wander around.
The warmth of your touch, forever gone,
Yet your presence lingers, like a lingering song.

With every passing day, the pain does subside,
But the ache in my heart, I cannot hide.
The emptiness left, an endless abyss,
Yet I find solace in the memories we miss.

Though you are not here, your spirit remains,
In the gentle breeze and the softest rains.
In the twinkling stars that light up the night,
I feel your love, shining ever so bright.

Though the pain of loss may never fade,
I'll cherish the love that we both made.
For in my heart, you'll forever reside,
Until we meet again, on the other side.
