Whispers Of Loss, Echoes Of Grief Poem by sarah macdonald

Whispers Of Loss, Echoes Of Grief

In the depths of sorrow, I find my solace,
A rhyming poem on loss and grief, I'll embrace.
When darkness engulfs and tears overflow,
Words become my refuge, helping me grow.

Loss, a cruel companion that knows no bounds,
Leaving hearts shattered, with no soothing sounds.
Grief, a heavy cloak draped upon the soul,
Leaving wounds unseen, taking its toll.

In the echoes of silence, memories reside,
Whispering tales of love, now forever tied.
The void left behind, an emptiness untamed,
Aching hearts yearning for what once remained.

But through the pain, hope begins to rise,
Like a phoenix emerging, soaring the skies.
For in every loss, there's a lesson to learn,
To cherish what we have, before it's our turn.

Grief, a teacher of life's fragility,
Reminding us of our innate humility.
Though tears may fall and hearts may break,
Strength emerges from the depths we undertake.

So let us mourn, grieve, and heal our wounds,
For in time, new beginnings will bloom.
And as we navigate the path of loss and grief,
May our spirits find solace, a much-needed relief.

For life's tapestry is woven with joy and pain,
Loss and grief are threads we cannot disdain.
But through poetry's embrace, we find release,
A rhyming testament to loss and its cease.
