When They Leave Us



I look at my window to see
so quiet, leaf waving at me
so i ask am i alone tonight
i have goose-bumps thinking
am not alone so as my friend
yes she's doing same routine

my eyes becomes blurry i know
memories came from years ago
i was piecing petals of day
when my sister came told me
she left; smile on her face
i made sign of cross, a kiss
