Do not look for me at home
Nor in the street
Nor in the bazaar and office
Nor with friends I used to visit
For I am not far away
Not even as far and near
As wander your eyes
And your legs carry
I am not far away
Not in the lands of fancy
Where sun, moon and stars
Walk hand in hand to eternity
You may look at them with reverence
For when you get up in the morning
You will find one coming to embrace you lovingly
And one in the evening
Coming to suffuse you with dreams serenely
They are part of our being here
But they are not yours
I am not far away
Not in drawing room nor in dining
Nor in bed room
You may look at them with love
For they are like your mirrors
Used to come
To haunt you daily
With the manifestation of mine
But they are all illusion
I am not far away
Not in the hill and the vale
Nor in the woods and the streamlet
Nor in the garden and the floweret
Nor in the morning breeze
That waves you gently with reminisces
You may look at them with hope
For in beauty lies
The shortening of distance
I am not far away
Not even as far and near
As your flesh and bone
For what are they
The savior of my soul…..?
Oh no!
They are guests of one night
Will soon settle down unto dust
Dive deep into your self
And see there is a castle
Near your mind, near your heart
And near your soul
And this is the only place where
In you I can put myself forever
