What will a guy do,
when he is still lost seeking for happiness,
Happiness seems to be a illusion
Difficult to grasp and not very easy to hold on to,
The past keeps lingering over my shoulder,
weighing my heart down, still wondering who am i
Someone with a calming smile or the devil inside
Am i still the person who i want to be or trying to pretend to be someone, Who isn't really me
I don't know where my soul is leading,
hiding behind the evil deeds
still looking for salvation
Or am i really looking?
cause i don't seem to see
Whether i am still changing
Driven by those same thoughts,
Which bought me down,
So damn tempting.
So am i the one i want to be?
Perhaps I'll find out one day
When this soul finally sleeps.
