Rising Liberty Poem by Rohit Poddar

Rising Liberty

The morning sunshine glows bright to open my eyes
The night star glows light to shut them by
Away with a peaceful sleep
Many dream, all dream
Beautiful nature can sooths my beat
Seas rush to my feet
The soul shouts rejoice.

Freedom is all it demands
To fly higher in the sky
Free from the shackles of society
Hunting for peace
Where killing isn't a part
Dieing is just the path
Happiness lies within
Without the fear of losing
I believe, a little sunshine
Is a part of everyone's life.

Eyes water when rough hands touch soft cheecks
Hearts rage when discriminated,
This is not what we were told.
The young humans laugh with their soul
The merry old narrate their yarn
There's a lot to learn, for wisdom
Is never growing old.
