What Is The Use Of Safeguarding The Wealth With Greed?
If any person who stays safeguarding
His wealth unnecessarily with greed,
Without eating the essential nutrient food,
Without establishing his pride and esteem,
Without enriching his respect and fame,
Without an attempt to relieve the sufferings
Of the rarest of the rarest close relatives,
Without offering the needy help to the people
Who ask for, O' Alas! What is the use of his wealth?
He is considered as a pauper who lost his wealth!

நேரிசை வெண்பா
உண்ணான் ஒளிநிறான் ஓங்கு புகழ்செய்யான்
துன்னருங் கேளிர் துயர்களையான் - கொன்னே
வழங்கான் பொருள்காத் திரும்பானேல், அஆ
இழந்தானென் றெண்ணப் படும்.9
