What I Want For Christmas Poem by Randy McClave

What I Want For Christmas

For Christmas I don't want snow on the ground
I instead want the lost to be be found,
What else that I want and that I truly have craved
It is that all my lost family and friends to be saved.
I am not looking for any special present
That has been bought for me or is being sent,
I wish that everyone would receive that very special gift
Where the soul it does truly lift.
I want racism and war and prejudice to cease
I want no hate and I want all to feel love and peace.
Remember, if we are racists or greedy and judge and in sin we revel
It's all because of the devil.
I wish everyone would unto Jesus truly listen
And instead of saying they are, I wish all to be a Christian,
I wish all would follow Jesus's teachings
And then obey and then follow his preachings.
I don't care if I don't ever get a Christmas card
Of if my neighbors put ornaments or the menagerie up in their yard,
I don't care for stockings hanging from the fireplace
Or if hanging from the door is Saint Nick's face.
Everyone has given Santa and their loved ones a Christmas list
Even under the mistletoe many have already kissed,
But, I wish that everyone would worship and obey Jesus and pray
That is all that I want for my Christmas Day.
