What I Fear Poem by Sherri Vogel

What I Fear

-Living

-Dying

-Making Mistakes

-Failing

-Hurting

-Letting Go

-Forgetting

-Growing

-Maturing

-Changing

-Moving

-Fire

-Quiet

-Stillness

-Night Time

-Darkness

-People

-Trusting

-Loving

-Accepting

-Feeling

If we're here to live each moment as if it were our last

Why am I busy wasting it looking in the past.

Yesterday is dead and gone

Tomorrow's out of sight

Today's the only day I have to try and make things right.

Whether it's a minute or an hour

Time isn't up to me

God has a plan for everyone that only he can see.

I may have years, days, hours, seconds or the minute

But living in the past won't change what happened in it.

I've only got the here and now

Not what was or used to be

I should just be grateful for what lies in front of me.

Whats meant to be will happen

I can not run and hide

The future is not up to me

It's God who will decide.

The only thing that I can do is

-Love

-Let Go

-Forgive

Myself and others for mistakes

Seize the moment

Learn to Live.
